Student answer (Band 6.0)
Financial planning is considerably the most significant part of you're future. As we all are aware of uncertainty about future, we must have to prepare ourselves from this disastrous situation .I strongly believe that everyone , including young people should start preparing themselves for the future by saving money .
I highly recommend everyone to save money for their future as anything is possible due to the bubble of AI in the market and there is a possibility that the world could lean towards automation. According to the survey and news , we can see huge layoffs in the IT sector where big tech giants like Goggle, Microsoft and other tech companies are pushing themselves towards AI . As the AI is evolving ,the IT Employees in their fields are scared for their future as everyday is like 'Do or die' situation . We can see some policies are being introduce to restrict the development of AI but i don't think it might create a huge impact on tech companies . So it is better to invest money for future rather than spending .
There is one more crisis we have seen in the year 2008 and it was related to housing crisis and financial debt , but we have seen the effects of it and it was extremely bad . We can see a lot of people went into debt or were already in debt and its influence lead people to do suicide which was heartbreaking .
So in conclusion , although everyone must prepare for their future by saving some fixed sum of money every month, they should spend reasonably amount of money for their happiness.
Parents must have a retirement funds and some assets for their children .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that people, including young people, should save, and the conclusion adds a sensible qualification that they should also spend reasonably for happiness. The examples about AI-related layoffs and the 2008 housing crisis are relevant and show why financial preparation matters. However, the first example is more fully explained than the second: the link between the crisis and the need for individual savings could be made explicit, and the claim about people dying by suicide needs careful support or a more measured explanation. The final point about parents’ retirement funds and children’s assets is introduced abruptly. Develop these ideas with clearer reasoning and a specific example of how saving benefits young people.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an overall structure, moving from a clear introduction to two supporting points and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps distinguish the discussion of AI from the financial crisis, and phrases such as “So in conclusion” signal the ending. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the discussion moves from layoffs to AI policies and then to investing without fully connecting each step. Linking phrases are also somewhat mechanical, with repeated openings such as “We can see.” The final sentence about parents’ retirement funds feels detached from the conclusion. Use clearer topic sentences, explain the relationship between each example and your main claim, and connect the final point to the argument rather than adding it separately.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financial planning,” “automation,” “layoffs,” “housing crisis,” and “financial debt.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and some less common terms are attempted. At times, however, word choice and collocation are inaccurate or awkward, as in “bubble of AI,” “lean towards automation,” “invest money for future,” and “spend reasonably amount.” There are also spelling and form errors, including “Goggle” and “IT Employees,” which reduce polish. Aim for more natural combinations and precise wording, especially when describing economic trends. For example, describe AI as “rapidly advancing” and say that people should “set aside money for the future.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “there is a possibility that the world could lean towards automation” and a concessive conclusion beginning “although.” The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include “you’re future” instead of a possessive form, “we must have to prepare,” and “policies are being introduce.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly where spaces appear before punctuation or a new sentence begins after a full stop without a space. Work on verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence punctuation, then proofread each sentence. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentence attempts easier to follow.
