Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the opening: “I strongly agree,” and you remain in favour of saving throughout. You also give relevant reasons, including meeting education costs and using savings to support a business. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because these points are brief and not fully explained; for example, the school-fee example does not show clearly how saving helps a young person prepare for future needs. The claim that money improves “thinking power” is also unclear. The required minimum length is not met, which limits the opportunity to develop your reasons and examples. Explain each main point with a specific, relevant example and a clearer link to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable beginning, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can generally follow the central view that saving is important. You also attempt to connect ideas with phrases such as “Furthermore,” “For instance” and “On the other hand.” However, there is no clear progression between some points: the paragraph beginning “On the other hand” does not present a contrasting view, and several linking words are used mechanically or do not show the intended relationship. Ideas within paragraphs are also sometimes loosely connected, particularly the shift from saving to “thinking power” and then business. Organise each body paragraph around one reason, explain it in sequence, and use transitions only when their meaning fits.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “save cash,” “school fees,” “education” and “financial resources,” so the subject is recognisable. There are also attempts to use more formal expressions, such as “crucial” and “significant.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which can make meaning unclear: “wealth plays a crucial rule,” “pick own burden” and “money are the abundent thing for excessive problems” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “teangers,” “bussinessman” and “fessible” also affect clarity. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing budgeting, expenses and financial security, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a sentence introduced by “For instance” and one beginning “Without money.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to form complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and sentence structure appear in examples such as “a student are not able,” “money are” and “every person should responsible.” Articles, pronouns and possessives are also inconsistent, as in “everyone lives” and “our school fees” when referring to a student. Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention too; several ideas are joined with commas where a full stop or a clearer clause structure is needed. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement.
