Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowaday people think we should have some sort of amount in saving which helps us in coming days. Some individual argue that everyone including young adults need to store their earning to fullfill their future requirements. This essay will argues that why people need to spend money on their daily activities to make their current life joyable.
According to old citizens current generation including adults should prefer to have some money in bank and use this in upcoming years when they don't have any job and source of income. Because, they will not have any source to gain money and support themself in future. For example, during health issues, when they admit in hospital they want some financial support to buy medicines and pay hospital bills. So having handsome amount in saving usually provide significant relief in this type of situation.
On the other side, when person live without any stress in current time they mostly live long and not face any difficulty in future. They have learned how to cope with different situation and get out from these. In recent survey almost 95% people know how earn money and spend on their needs after 50 year of their age and they said we also live like same in our past and this time help us to learn how the individual spend life without saving.
In conclusion, this essay argued that people don't take stress for their future if they know how spent life with joy in current time in their life. In my opinion they need to spend money

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response recognises the topic of saving and gives a relevant example of savings helping with medical costs. However, it does not clearly answer the extent to which you agree or disagree. The introduction says the essay will explain why people should spend on daily activities, while the first body paragraph supports saving; the conclusion again favours spending but does not resolve this conflict. The argument against saving is also difficult to follow: the claim that living without stress leads to a longer life does not explain why people should avoid saving, and the survey is not clearly connected to the point. State your position directly and support it consistently with developed reasons and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “On the other side” signal a contrast. However, the progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph supports saving, but the next shifts to spending without clearly explaining how its claims challenge the earlier argument. The survey sentence is especially hard to connect to the point, and the conclusion ends abruptly after “they need to spend money,” leaving the final idea incomplete. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence. More precise links between claims and examples would make the organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “financial support,” “hospital bills,” “source of income” and “saving,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “handsome amount in saving,” “joyable,” and “how earn money.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, such as “Nowaday,” “fullfill” and “individual argue.” Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling and forms carefully. For instance, use “a substantial amount in savings” and “enjoyable” where appropriate, and choose vocabulary that expresses your position on saving clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “when they don't have any job and source of income” and a relative clause in “which helps us in coming days.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries frequently make the writing difficult to read. Examples include “This essay will argues,” “everyone … need,” and “when person live.” The sentence beginning “Because, they will not have…” is also an incomplete dependent clause, while the final sentence is unfinished. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms before adding subordinate clauses.
