Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of saving money. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention 'bad times' and 'fulfilling dreams', the explanations are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the example regarding COVID-19 is relevant but poorly explained due to grammatical errors. The counter-argument provided in the third paragraph is somewhat confusing and does not clearly support or contrast with your main position. To improve, focus on expanding your points with more logical, well-structured examples rather than repeating the same concepts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as 'To strenthen this viewpoint' or 'To complete my satement'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. The transition between the advantages and the counter-argument is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, relying on basic words like 'money', 'save', and 'help'. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'surival', 'morder', 'indivdual', 'strenthen', and 'abalit'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary, including collocations and less common lexical items related to finance and personal development. Focus on learning synonyms and practicing the correct spelling of common academic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack proper punctuation, such as 'The money is very crucial for everyone for surival in world .' and 'How they survive .'. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty, which leads to a lack of clarity. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that your verbs and nouns agree before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
