Saving income is very beneficial for every individual, especially young people for their longterm plans. I totally agree with this statement because saving can lead to a person's being financially stable and can help them to tackle difficult situations and fulfill their future goals.
There are several advantages of being financially stable. First, saving enough money can provide better opportunities to fulfill their plans. They can start their business on small scales. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you clearly state your position in the introduction, the arguments provided are brief and lack sufficient depth or specific examples. The conclusion is incomplete, trailing off mid-sentence, which means the task is not fully addressed. To improve, you must expand on your points by providing detailed explanations and real-world examples. Ensure that you complete the essay structure, including a fully developed conclusion that summarizes your main arguments, to ensure all parts of the prompt are addressed thoroughly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay shows a basic level of organization with clear paragraph breaks. You use some cohesive devices such as 'First', 'Secondly', and 'However' to signal transitions between ideas. However, the progression of ideas is hindered by the incomplete nature of the final paragraph. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall flow is interrupted by the abrupt ending. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and a logical conclusion that connects back to the main thesis.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains somewhat repetitive and basic. Phrases like 'saving income' and 'financially stable' are used correctly, but there is a lack of more sophisticated or academic vocabulary. You attempt to use terms like 'inferiority complex', which is good, but the range is limited. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to personal finance and economic planning. Avoid repeating the same words in close proximity and aim for a more varied range of synonyms to express your ideas more fluently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as 'a balanced approach work best' (should be 'works') and 'the above problem' (should be plural 'problems'). There are also minor issues with article usage and prepositional phrases. To achieve a higher score, focus on ensuring subject-verb agreement and refining your use of complex sentence structures. Proofreading for small errors like missing 's' endings or incorrect verb forms will help improve the overall accuracy of your writing.
