Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this era, where young generation waste their money. Some people argue that young generation should save their money for future. I completely agree with this point as this money can help in cases like economic unstability and can help improve their financial habits.
Enonomic unstability is a commenly know word around the globe. Today many countries are facing economical disaters and they are impossible to predict. If a person doesnot have reserves he will not be able to face the challenges in these kind of situtaions, in this time period every item in market observe a sudden price hike which is super unnatural. For instance, we cannot forget the economic depression of 2008 which was felt overall the world and even big economic powers like west was not immune to them.
It is essential for this generation to know the value of money. One can only understand this if he know when, it is absolute necessary to spend money and in order to learn that he must be able to control his unnecessary desires. This will improve his overall financial habits and will help him learn the skills that are really important to be successful in life, such as self-control and management skils, whereas people who never learn this in youth often struggle with debt later.
In conclusion, people who do not think of their future faces many problems, whereas on the other hand people who consider the future developes many skills ahead of time and are immune to economic disasters.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of saving money. The ideas regarding economic instability and financial discipline are relevant and supported with a historical example (the 2008 crisis). However, the development is somewhat limited; the points could be extended further to reach a higher band. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, merely restating the prompt's premise rather than synthesizing the main arguments. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a deeper analysis of the 'why' and 'how' behind the arguments, rather than just stating them.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'For instance,' 'In conclusion,' and 'whereas,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In this era, where young generation waste their money.' The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. The use of cohesive devices is sufficient to maintain a coherent argument, but more sophisticated linking would elevate the score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'Enonomic,' 'commenly,' 'disaters,' 'situtaions,' 'skils') and some awkward collocations like 'super unnatural' or 'economic powers like west.' While the meaning is clear, the range of vocabulary is limited to common, everyday terms. To achieve a higher band, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and ensure accurate spelling of key terms related to the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('young generation waste,' 'he know,' 'people... faces,' 'people... developes') and article usage errors ('the west,' 'the world'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will significantly improve your score.
