Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people believes that it is necessary for all the individuals, as well as for young people, to save money for their future. I am of the opinion that people should save money but under some conditions. This essay discusses the advantages and disadvantages of this step.
There are certain unexpected events that occurs in the lives of the individuals and to cope with them, they need cash or high amount of rupees. But they often don't have money at that emergency situations. Collection of money for such instants before time could be very helpful in the time of need. Also, some youngers have big dreams in their lives but they can't fulfill those with their budget. Hence, if they save money from their monthly income, they could achieve their dreams after sometime. For instance, in Pakistan, there are differnt insurance companies where people could save their income and get at a particular time of need.
This initiative could also present some drawbacks, as many people focus only on saving money sacrificing their basic needs. They usually don't spend on food or their health and only collect their money which could have negative effects for them. Nobody exactly knows that their saved money would be of some benefits for them but it could also destroy their present situation. As a point in case is that many locals in under-developed countries sacrifice their basic needs in order to save money for the future.
In conclusion, I would say that it is essential to collect resources for future but after fulfilling your current basic needs and then saving extra money for the upcoming time and unexpected scenes. Moreover, individuals also try to improve their monthly income rather on relying the same work for whole life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of saving money and providing both advantages and disadvantages. The position is clear throughout, and the ideas are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'youngers' having big dreams is a good start but lacks specific detail or depth. The discussion on the drawbacks is also a bit general. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples and ensure that the link between the saving habit and the potential negative consequences is more thoroughly explained with more sophisticated reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'As a point in case is that' or 'after fulfilling your current basic needs and then saving extra money'. While the paragraphing is appropriate, the transitions between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall flow. The referencing is generally clear, but the logical links between some sentences could be strengthened to create a more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'unexpected events', 'insurance companies', and 'under-developed countries'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'youngers' (instead of 'young people') and 'unexpected scenes' (instead of 'emergencies' or 'unforeseen circumstances'). There is also a reliance on basic vocabulary. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary to demonstrate greater flexibility and precision in your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many people believes', 'events that occurs') and article usage. Additionally, there are some awkward phrasings, such as 'get at a particular time of need' and 'rather on relying the same work'. These errors do not generally impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and preposition usage would significantly improve your accuracy.
