Student answer (Band 5.5)
Money is important for living a better life. Everyone should have some savings for future, including youngsters. I agree with a large extend. The narrative ahead shall articulate reasons behind my belief along with a some contradictory aspect before arriving at a rational conclusion.
The first and foremost reason is that savings will help people in a time of difficulties. Many people save money for their kids, retirement, emergencies. young people also save money for their future, because penny saved is penny gained. It act as earnings. Of course younger people do not have that kind of income source but they can save money from pocket money. when they save money they understand the value of money, so they can use it for college fees or to buy that important . Secondly, they can save money for future business. Nowadays many younger people like to do their own business. So, they start saving money from early age and invest it on secure platform for growth of money. After certain amount of time they get good returns from investment. As a result, with the help of this money start their own business. Even it reduced burden on their parents. For instance, many college students do part-time jobs, and save money so, they can pay college fees and save for future. This way they are not dependent on anyone.
On the other hand, younge people do not have constant source of income, which they save. They like to spent money on exploring new places, travelling and appearence. This is influence of social media. As a result, they do not believe in savings and leave everything for later. younger people are busy in enjoying life without worry of savings. Their parents provide money when even they need. Because of these reason they do not understand the value of savings.
To conclude, even though younger do not have constut source of income. I, however, believe that they should save money for difficult suituations and their future needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding financial independence and future security are relevant and supported by examples, such as college students working part-time. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed; for instance, the mention of 'investing on secure platforms' is a bit vague. The counter-argument regarding social media influence is well-integrated, though the conclusion is somewhat repetitive. Overall, the response is well-focused, but could benefit from more nuanced exploration of the 'extent' of the agreement to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first and foremost reason', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as the phrase 'to buy that important' which lacks a noun. The progression of ideas is generally smooth, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to avoid a repetitive structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'articulate', 'contradictory', and 'independent', which is positive. However, there are several word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'constut' instead of 'constant', 'suituations' instead of 'situations', and 'appearence' instead of 'appearance'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of the writing. Expanding the range of collocations would help improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' is often missing) and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'It act as earnings', 'younger people do not have constant source'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing capital letters at the start of sentences. While these errors rarely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to keep the score in the 6.0 range. More attention to proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy is recommended.
