Student answer (Band 5.5)
For a better future, It is necessary for everyone to save as much money as possible. Many people think you can earn money later in life as you should enjoy your life at the moment. Although both perspective hold merit,However, I agree with the given statement and think the the same.
For the desire to change your and your family lives by moving abroad seems simple and fulfilling.Apart from that, many people don't have money with them which is significant for moving abroad or to improve your life style. From my personal experience, I have seen my cousin securing admission in Manchester University at postgraduate level but unable to move due to tremendous amount of money required for all the process, which
made him realized the time he used to spent money blindly. If he would have save that amount he would be studying in England today.
Many people want to open businesses such as their own cafe, bakery, clothing brand and many others. However, Due to lack of money they cannot open any business and are forced to work in other businesses. Sometimes this can be very heartbreaking. For instance, one of my cousins had a very clear vision about what they want to do in their future. He had a very professional mindset about the business he wanted to start however destiny had other plans and due to lack of money he is doing cashier job in a mall.
On the other hand, Some people disagree that saving money is not that important because who knows what happens in future. Although, we don't know what might happen in future but it is definitely necessary for a secure future.
I would like to conclude by saying it is not only about money that matters in future but also moral values are very vital for a better world and society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have provided relevant examples, such as the cousin unable to attend university and the individual working as a cashier, to support your argument. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, and the conclusion introduces a new, unrelated point about 'moral values' which was not part of your initial argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that all points in the conclusion directly reinforce the arguments already presented in the body paragraphs rather than introducing new concepts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear overall progression. You use some cohesive devices like 'Apart from that', 'For instance', and 'On the other hand'. However, there are issues with the mechanical use of these devices and some awkward transitions. For example, the opening paragraph contains redundant phrasing ('Although both perspective hold merit, However, I agree...'), which disrupts the flow. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay read more naturally and improve the logical flow between sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your ideas clearly. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary such as 'postgraduate level' and 'professional mindset'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'spent money blindly' instead of 'spent money recklessly' or 'tremendous amount of money' which is slightly unnatural in this context. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—to make your writing sound more sophisticated and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and articles. For example, 'If he would have save' should be 'If he had saved', and 'the the same' is a repetitive error. There are also punctuation issues, such as missing spaces after commas and incorrect capitalization. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and conditional sentence structures will be beneficial.
