Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by agreeing with the importance of saving money. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. While you mention the benefit of saving for 'upcoming things' and 'purchasing the ielts coarse', the arguments lack depth and clear structure. The ideas are presented in a somewhat circular manner, and the explanation of why young people should save is not fully explored beyond basic personal anecdotes. To improve, you should aim to provide more distinct, well-supported reasons, such as financial independence or preparation for emergencies, and ensure each paragraph focuses on a clear, developed point.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear paragraph structure, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. The text is essentially one long block of sentences, which hinders readability. Cohesive devices are used in a very mechanical and repetitive way, such as the frequent use of 'in this way' and 'as we can see'. There is a lack of logical transitions between sentences, and the overall organization is weak. To improve, you should use clear paragraphing to separate your introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, and use a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. Phrases like 'bad situation', 'useful things', and 'little amount of money' are used repeatedly. There are also errors in word choice, such as 'learner' used to refer to young people, and 'upcoming life' instead of 'future'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning synonyms and collocations related to finance and personal development, and try to avoid repeating the same phrases throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'our responsibility to always thought'), sentence fragments, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'when my parents in not available'). The sentence structures are mostly simple or poorly constructed, with very few attempts at complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with run-on sentences that lack proper conjunctions or full stops. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and practicing the correct use of tenses and prepositions.
