TASK-2

In this modern era, money plays very crucial role in everyones life. Money should be saved by everyone, including young people. Hence, I agree with this view point of saving money. Hence this essay will discu the reasons for saving money.

There are multifarious reasons to support my view of saving money. To begin with, money should be saved for future generations. As to provide good education, medical care and financial support to childrens. This will reduce financial pressure on next generation and allow them to focus on their studies and career without worrying about money. Additionally, Saving money from young age help people to meet unexpected expenses. Life is very unpredictable. Young people or individuals may need money for medical treatment and other emerginc emergencies. Having some amount means not allways dependent on parents for fincial help. For instance few young people save some amount of their pocket money which helps them to meet uncertain conditions and also they become financially independent.

Another point in the list is, saving is important for acheiving future goals. young people have huge goals wich are impossible without money. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The essay addresses the prompt clearly, maintaining a consistent position throughout. The main ideas—financial security, independence, and avoiding debt—are relevant and logically extended. However, the development is somewhat uneven; for example, the point about 'future generations' is slightly tangential to the core focus on young people saving for their own futures. While the arguments are generally well-supported with examples like university fees and medical emergencies, the essay would benefit from a more nuanced exploration of the counter-argument or a deeper analysis of the long-term benefits of saving. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Additionally', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some minor issues with mechanical cohesion and sentence-level flow, such as the fragmented sentence 'By developing the havi habit of / Saving money from an early age'. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the transition between the second and third paragraphs could be smoother to enhance the overall logical flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, with some attempts at less common items like 'multifarious' and 'unpredictable'. However, there are several spelling errors ('emerginc', 'allways', 'fincial', 'Univesity') and some awkward phrasing ('discu the reasons', 'acheiving future goals'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a wider range of precise collocations. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary in a natural, error-free manner.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('Saving money... help people', 'a students who save') and punctuation errors. Some sentences are fragmented or incomplete, which affects the overall grammatical control. While the meaning remains clear throughout, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Increasing the variety of complex structures while ensuring accuracy in basic grammar, such as pluralization and verb tense consistency, would significantly improve the score.
