Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that everyone including young people should save money for future. I strongly agree with this statement because savings can helps people to achieve the long-term goals.
Firstly, if young people starting saving the money from the young age it can protect them from unexpected financial problems. People nowadays save their money by taking LIC, FDs and shares from share market which stores as safety amount for future. Additionally, people also buy insurance such as travel, medical and education which can help people when they are needed. For example, if young people start saving money from young age that can also help them in paying fee for their college.
Secondly, saving the essential for achieving major future goals. Young people may want to buy house, start a business, travel abroad and pursue higher education. These goals need require a considerable amount of money. Learning of saving money from young age can develop the habit of and learn responsibility. Moreover, Learning help them in discipline and encourage them in distinguish between essential and unnecessary spendings.
However, people should not only save money for future when unpredictable things can occur, so people should also enjoy their present by spending on their hobbies, adventures and trips which can help you to break autonomy of life.
In conclusion, I believe saving the money for future can help you with essential things like healthcare, education, goals and house. And this can also help people to discipline and encourage themselves. But, you should also enjoy your presents by spending some amount on yourself and what you like.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt by clearly stating your agreement and providing relevant reasons, such as financial security and achieving long-term goals. The ideas are generally relevant, though some points, such as the mention of 'LIC' and 'FDs', are slightly specific to certain regions and could be explained more broadly for an international audience. The development of ideas is sufficient, but the explanation of how saving fosters 'discipline' could be expanded with more concrete examples to reach a higher band. Overall, you maintain a clear position throughout the essay, which is a strength.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use transition signals like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'However', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. While the progression is generally clear, some cohesive devices are used in a slightly mechanical way. For instance, the transition between the benefits of saving and the counter-argument about enjoying the present could be smoother. Additionally, some referencing is slightly repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'people' and 'young people' at the start of sentences. Improving the variety of linking phrases would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'unexpected financial problems', 'unpredictable', and 'autonomy'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'stores as safety amount' (should be 'serves as a financial safety net') and 'break autonomy of life' (which is unclear in this context). You attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary, but some phrasing remains basic. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive word choices to convey your ideas with greater sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'savings can helps' (subject-verb agreement), 'starting saving the money from the young age' (article usage), and 'These goals need require' (redundant verbs). Additionally, there are issues with sentence fragments and awkward phrasing, such as 'Learning of saving money... can develop the habit of and learn responsibility.' Increasing your control over complex sentence structures and proofreading for basic subject-verb and article errors will significantly improve your score.
