Student answer (Band 5.5)
Money is the need of people of all ages. It has always been a topic with multiple opinions. Many people believe that saving money is the crucial need of time. While some believe spending money on whatever they like because they believe we live once and should spend life to the fullest.
I agree and disagree little bit with both aspects of saving and spending money. Ideally a person should spend money according to their need and capacity. one should never be too generous and too stingy.
A person who values time, efforts, money and conscious about long term stability, do not do things over the top. Instead he always choose balance approach. he always separates money for expenses and savings.
Many students who start working during their studies tend to save money for higher education. Many job holders save money for business or go abroad. Many people invest in stakes, property and jewelry. So, in case of financial crisis, people use their savings and can easily pay bills, rents etc. The habit of savings prevent people from debt. This habit able people to achieve future goals.
There are also people who believe in living present day and spend money recklessly. They are not conscious about future goals and tasks. when time comes, they eventually end up being in debt, stress, anxiety and aggression.
Parents should encourage the habit of saving money in their children. Studies have shown those who adopt sense of management and discipline in early childhood end up living peacefully.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of saving money. You present a clear position, although your initial statement that you 'agree and disagree little bit' is slightly ambiguous. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of financial stability and the role of parents in teaching children. However, the development of these points is somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples with more specific detail or deeper analysis of the consequences of financial habits. The conclusion is brief and could be more effectively linked back to the main argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Instead', 'Many', and 'There are also', to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of cohesive devices is limited. Some transitions feel abrupt, particularly between the introduction and the body paragraphs. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'financial crisis', 'stability', and 'recklessly'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'invest in stakes' (likely meaning 'stocks') and 'this habit able people' (should be 'enables'). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more academic synonyms for common words to express your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('the need of time'), subject-verb agreement issues ('he always choose'), and punctuation errors. Some sentences are fragmented or lack proper structure, which affects the fluency of the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement, and proofreading for small errors like missing articles or incorrect verb forms.
