Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, saving money has become an essential need for unexpected expenses in the future. As a result, some individuals believe that saving money from early ages for undesirable emergency services occurred in the future. In my opinion everyone should save money from unnecessary expenditure. I completely agree with this scenario and the reasons for my stance are discussed in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, there are several reasons for saving money. Firstly, unexpected problems can happen at any time, if people have some savings so people cannot face any financial issues. People lose their jobs due to any reason, but individuals have some money, so people can fulfill their essential needs like vegetables, water bills. As a result people can deal with these situations without any stress and anxiety. For example, a young person saving part of their monthly salary can use this salary in a sudden medical situation. Therefore, developing the habit of saving can make people more financially secure.
Furthermore, saving money can help young people achieve their long term goals. Many people want a house, continue their education with a higher University, and fulfill families needs with high-quality facilities. These goals often required an excessive amount of money. By saving small amounts on a regular basis, they can gradually collect money for these purposes. For instance, young people who save a fixed amount every month could eventually use it to pay higher education fees.
To conclude, making a habit of saving money from early stages can help in the future by preventing unexpected problems related to the family's medical situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt clearly and maintains a consistent position throughout. The introduction states the writer's agreement, and the body paragraphs provide relevant reasons, such as financial security during emergencies and achieving long-term goals. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. For instance, the discussion on 'unexpected problems' in the second paragraph is echoed in the conclusion. To reach a higher band, the arguments could be more thoroughly extended with more nuanced analysis rather than relying on simple examples like 'vegetables' or 'water bills'. Overall, the task is addressed adequately.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, the flow within paragraphs is occasionally mechanical. For example, the sentence 'People lose their jobs due to any reason, but individuals have some money, so people can fulfill their essential needs' is slightly disjointed. Additionally, the use of referencing is sometimes repetitive, with 'people' used frequently as the subject of consecutive sentences. Improving the variety of linking words and pronoun usage would enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary such as 'financial issues', 'unexpected expenses', and 'long term goals'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is a reliance on basic phrasing. Some collocations are slightly unnatural, such as 'undesirable emergency services' (which implies services that are unwanted, rather than the emergencies themselves) and 'continue their education with a higher University'. Expanding the range of academic vocabulary and focusing on more precise collocations would improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with article usage, pluralization, and verb tense consistency. For example, 'saving money from early ages' should be 'at an early age', and 'these goals often required' should be 'these goals often require'. Additionally, there are punctuation issues, such as comma splices in the second paragraph ('...at any time, if people have...'). While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score.
