Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position in favor of saving money. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention healthcare and investment, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the example regarding 'ten lakhs people' is vague and does not effectively support the argument about saving for the future. To improve, you should focus on expanding your points with more logical reasoning and specific, relevant examples that directly relate to the benefits of saving for young people versus adults. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the main points discussed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'on other hand' and 'orels' are used incorrectly or are non-standard, which disrupts the flow of ideas. Additionally, the transition between sentences is sometimes abrupt, making the progression of thought feel disjointed. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that connects logically to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'fucture' (future), 'essicinal' (essential), 'sictuations' (situations), and 'suger' (sugar), which occasionally make the text difficult to read. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'suddenly spend money' or 'phase some health issues.' To improve, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more academic and precise terms related to finance and personal development. Proofreading for common spelling mistakes is also essential to ensure your ideas are communicated clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('money is needed to be save'), incorrect word forms ('everyone should know about it'), and punctuation errors. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt complex constructions. For example, 'money is needed to be save for there fucture' should be 'money needs to be saved for their future.' These errors are frequent and sometimes impede the reader's understanding. You should work on mastering basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and the correct use of articles and pronouns before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
