Student answer (Band 6.0)
Financial saving is becoming crucial aspect of every individual's life. Even youngsters should start thinking of saving money for their future. I believe that it is essential to young people along with everybody else should invest their finance inorder to sustain their better life.
When it comes to future planning everyone thinks of financial conditions, and at some point it is true. People who are financially stronger tend to be successfull in their life than those who are not stable financially. In current world, everyone are investing in stocks, real state or banks, and the reason is to get higher returns with saved money. For instance, fixed deposits satisfying both customer and banker needs. The customer saves money in the bank and also bank uses that money to provide loans to others for their own benefit. Saving finance is one of the best decision of life.
Students who think of their future in advance will definitely start saving money as this will help to fulfill their future needs. However, still there are some younger ones who are wasting their money in unnecessary expenses. For example, parents saves their money for their children higher education and children asks for fulfilling their present needs, which are not so important. This results in financial crisis for the parents and they end up taking debts. Therefore, parents and children both need to be aware of saving rather than spending money for no reason.
In conclusion, I fully agree that young people and every individual should start saving money for their future. Financial problems always occur due to improper maintenance of money.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding financial stability and the importance of early saving are relevant and supported by examples, such as the mention of fixed deposits and the conflict between parental savings and children's spending. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the explanation of why young people specifically should save could be more deeply explored beyond general financial security. The conclusion effectively restates the position. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully elaborated with more nuanced reasoning rather than relying on general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'When it comes to', 'For instance', 'However', and 'Therefore' are used to guide the reader through the argument. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the slightly awkward phrasing in the opening paragraph. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the connection between the example of fixed deposits and the broader argument about young people could be more tightly integrated to improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'financial crisis' and 'unnecessary expenses'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor collocation errors, such as 'crucial aspect' (missing 'a'), 'real state' (should be 'real estate'), and 'successfull' (spelling error). The range is sufficient to communicate the message, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Expanding the range of collocations and ensuring accurate word forms would significantly improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'everyone are investing' (subject-verb agreement), 'one of the best decision' (should be 'decisions'), and 'parents saves' (subject-verb agreement). Additionally, there are missing articles throughout the text, such as 'in current world' and 'in order to sustain their better life'. While these errors do not impede communication, they are persistent enough to prevent a higher score. Increasing the variety of error-free complex structures is recommended.
