Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, focusing on financial security during emergencies and the benefits of self-reliance for young people. However, the development is somewhat limited; the arguments are repetitive and could benefit from more nuanced exploration. For instance, the discussion on 'hardships' is a good start, but the explanation remains quite general. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your points with more specific, detailed examples or deeper analysis of the long-term implications of saving, rather than just listing basic needs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' to signal the progression of your argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'everything in this world, required money'. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by varying the sentence structure and ensuring smoother transitions between ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'financial security', 'stipend', and 'self-reliant'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are occasional errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'everything in this world, required money' (should be 'requires') and 'settle in abroad' (should be 'settle abroad'). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary and idiomatic expressions to demonstrate a wider range of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'that can manifested' (should be 'that can manifest'), 'a small proportion of amount' (should be 'a small proportion of your stipend'), and 'it will helps you' (should be 'it will help you'). These errors are persistent but do not impede overall communication. To achieve a higher score, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs and prepositions.
