Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is argued that it is necessary to save money for future, including youth and everybody. I completely agree with this statement. Saving not only gives freedom and independence but also it teaches u how a simple task of saving can result in such a vast difference in lives.
First, it is important for everyone, including youth, as the people who tend to save money have a different approach than who do not save money. Investing money gives them peace that whenever they are in need of money they can use it. Whenever, there is an emergency requiring money the one who has saved money can use it and is stress free. Whereas, somebody who has not saved up money may require additional cash may ask from someone or take a loan from the bank.
Second, most parents who save money also teach their children to invest money for their future. Parents who invest money for their future tend to retire early from those who do not invest. This is an simple example and the power of compounding. From an early age if we start to save the money and by the time we reach 18 we understand the need for saving money. It is not required to save the entire earnings, to save just 10 to 20% of their salaries is enough for every month to reach a certain stage in life which gives the opportunity to retire early in life.
In conclusion, saving money for future is very important and a essential part of life. Everyone from children to young people and professionals can save their money which opens various chances in their lives and makes them independent.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of financial security during emergencies and the long-term advantages of compounding interest. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the explanation of how young people learn to save is a bit repetitive and lacks depth. While the main points are clear, the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main stance, ensuring the task requirements are met.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First', 'Second', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Whereas, somebody who has not saved up money...'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between parents saving and children learning is slightly disjointed. Overall, the progression of ideas is coherent, but the use of cohesive devices could be more sophisticated and varied.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at topic-specific vocabulary, such as 'compounding' and 'invest', which are used correctly. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is some repetition of basic words like 'money' and 'save'. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'an essential part' (should be 'an essential part') and 'a simple example' (should be 'a simple example'). To improve, the student should aim for more precise synonyms and collocations to enhance the sophistication of their writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'the people who tend to save money have a different approach than who do not save money' (missing 'those'), 'an simple example' (article error), and the use of 'u' instead of 'you'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some awkward phrasings that affect the flow. The student demonstrates an ability to construct complex sentences, but the frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. More attention to subject-verb agreement and article usage is needed.
