Student answer (Band 6.0)
Saving money is one of the best habits for the people of all ages. While depositing money for the future provides a wide range of benefits to the people. I strongly agree with the statement that people, including young age, should save a part of their income regularly.
There are a number of reasons why money saving is significant for everyone. One main reason is that it allows people to lead a wealthy life both now and in the future. Because, everyone can easily fulfill their basic needs through money and saving money will give comparative advantage to the people to face any difficult situation, such as covid pandemic, in the future. In addition, by saving money, people become financially solvent. As a result, people, specially young age, will not depened on their parent's income and they become self dependence.
Moreover, young people may fulfill their desire by saving money regualrly. For example, if a new employer save some small portion of his monthly salary, he will able to buy a car in the future, which is one of his childhood dreams. So, this habit helps citizens to convert their dreams into reality. Furthermore, saving money for the future not only provides advantages to the people but also makes postive changes in a country. For instance, a person has to employ any job or start his own business to save a certain amount of money for the future. So, the tendency of saving money always pushes people to do any job or to be a entrepreneur. Therefore, the unemployment rate of the country's will reduce and it will boost the economic condition.
In conclusion, since saving money for the future brings several benefits to all ages, I strongly support with the view that saving money is indispensible for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, maintaining a clear position throughout. The arguments are relevant, particularly the points regarding financial independence and the broader economic impact of saving. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed; for instance, the link between individual saving and national unemployment rates is a bit tenuous and could have been explained with more logical depth. The introduction and conclusion clearly state your stance, and the body paragraphs provide supporting examples, such as the mention of the COVID-19 pandemic and the dream of buying a car. To reach a higher band, ensure that every claim is fully supported with clear, logical reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. Each paragraph has a central theme, and you use a variety of cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'For instance', and 'Therefore' to link your points. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as the phrase 'the tendency of saving money always pushes people to do any job', which is a bit vague. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, which helps the reader follow your argument easily. Overall, the structure is coherent and supports the development of your position.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'financially solvent', 'indispensable', and 'comparative advantage'. There are some instances of awkward word choice or minor errors, such as 'young age' instead of 'young people' and 'depened' (spelling error). Additionally, 'employ any job' is an incorrect collocation; 'take on a job' or 'secure employment' would be more natural. While you attempt to use less common vocabulary, the occasional inaccuracies prevent a higher score. Focusing on precise collocations and proofreading for spelling will help improve your lexical range and accuracy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully use conditional sentences ('if a new employer save... he will able to'), there are several grammatical errors present. For example, 'he will able to' should be 'he will be able to', and 'the country's will reduce' contains an unnecessary possessive. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'a new employer save' instead of 'saves'. Despite these errors, the meaning is generally clear, and the mistakes do not significantly impede communication. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences will help elevate your score.
