Student answer (Band 5.0)
This paragraph shows that is this good how we can save money for our future or is beneficial for young people or for any type of age people.
On the one hand we can see that money saving is good for our future, But how is it possible? In our young age people do any kind of work after that we can spend it for our future, Some people do any kind of jobs and so many business and take some money for future. Many people did to many efforts for future and then they will not be able to get it. But if we will save some money then we can buy a beautiful home and we can spend a good life. If we have some money then other people attach with us other wise people are living alone. In our society money is more power for living. We can get any kind of things which we want.
But on the other hand we can see that money is not important for our future because if we make money in our young age then we will be able to spend a good life , In my point of view we can get what we want in our young ages. If we can not be able to save some money then its really issue that in our old ages we are not able to do work but we can get enough for our future. On other hand if we'll save all of our money for our future then how we can spend our present life.
At the end on my point of view we can save some money for our future and its really good strategy for use to save some money for our future. If we can save some money then we can get easy life in our future...

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of saving money, but the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. While you express a position, the arguments are somewhat circular, particularly regarding the balance between saving and spending. The ideas lack depth and specific examples, relying on general statements like 'we can buy a beautiful home'. To improve, you should focus on providing more detailed explanations and concrete examples to support your arguments, ensuring that each paragraph contributes clearly to your overall position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive (e.g., 'On the one hand', 'On other hand'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow your train of thought. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one, creating a more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. Phrases like 'do any kind of work' and 'get any kind of things' are imprecise. There is a lack of topic-specific vocabulary related to finance or personal management. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise terminology and avoid repeating the same words throughout the text. Expanding your range of collocations and synonyms will help you convey your points more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement, sentence structure, and word order (e.g., 'is this good how we can save', 'money is more power for living'). Complex sentence structures are attempted but are often inaccurate, which can occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb tense consistency. Increasing your control over simple structures before moving to complex ones will improve your overall accuracy.
