Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by agreeing with the importance of saving money. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the first paragraph touches on the necessity of money for basic needs and education, the second paragraph focuses on the spending habits of young people rather than fully exploring the 'why' or 'how' of saving for the future. The argument is clear, but the supporting points are occasionally repetitive or lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that each paragraph directly supports your main position with more specific, well-developed examples rather than general statements about society or 'modern bullshits'.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or awkward. For instance, the transition 'As a results' contains a grammatical error, and the phrase 'Thats why' is too informal for an academic essay. Additionally, the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, making the progression of ideas feel a bit abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in light of this') would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. You rely on some informal or imprecise language, such as 'modern bullshits', 'show off', and 'big minds'. While you successfully use terms like 'economic confidence' and 'materialistic', the overall range is limited. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'money is very crucial part' (missing article) and 'facilitate the people' (incorrect usage). To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and avoiding colloquialisms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'money is very crucial part'), subject-verb agreement errors (e.g., 'Moral values not exists'), and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'Spent money with wise decisions is important'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, especially articles and verb tenses.
