Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, there as been ongoing discussion about, people should save money for their further life regardless of their age group. I totally agree with this statement because there are several reasons behind it which are discussed further.
Money plays an vital role in everyone's life. In recent era we have seen lot of financial crisis which leads individuals to lose their life or to run away from their family. The concept of saving money is very important in adults because by saving they can secure their future. For instance, if a married couple starts to save from first day of their marriage till their child's birth then, they will secure their kids education expenses and further life. Moreover, it can be helpful in medical terms too, people should always save some part of their income for medical emergency. By saving little amount daily will eventually leads toward a large ratio of money in future, from which they can purchase or fulfill their dreams.
Furthermore, it is also important for kids to start saving because in early age everyone wants to buy materialistic things which their parents may deny them but they can purchase that with help of saved money. Although, young people are more likely to be free minded but they should also save some money for their future educations and expenses. However, many individuals believe that, they should live their present life rather than worrying about the future in which they do not know if they exist or not. To counter this, many folks strongly believe that by investing they can secure their families future and enhance their lifestyle.
To conclude, I strongly believe that we should save money for our future because it is unpredictable so, by saving our part of income we can secure our further life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding financial security for families and the benefits of saving for young people are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about 'materialistic things' for children is a bit simplistic and could have been expanded to discuss financial literacy or long-term habits. The conclusion restates the position clearly, but the overall development lacks the depth required for a higher band score. The ideas are generally supported, but the reasoning could be more sophisticated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition 'To counter this' which does not perfectly align with the preceding sentence. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing and sentence flow, such as the comma usage in '...marriage till their child's birth then, they will...'. While the progression is generally clear, the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of imprecise word choice or awkward collocations, such as 'In recent era' (should be 'In recent times'), 'large ratio of money' (should be 'large sum of money'), and 'free minded' (should be 'carefree'). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey the message, but it does not demonstrate the flexibility or the use of less common lexical items required for a higher band. Spelling is generally accurate, but the word choices are often repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'there as been' (there has been), 'plays an vital role' (a vital role), and 'By saving little amount daily will eventually leads' (Saving a small amount daily will eventually lead). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the unnecessary use of commas. While the meaning is always clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band, as the control over complex structures is not consistent.
