Student answer (Band 6.5)
The habits of people in spending money are changing nowadays. It is often argued that all individuals including young generation should save money for their future.I completely agree with this perspective because it is essential for having financial freedom and also prepared for emergency situation.
The most significant reason in support of my view for saving money is financial freedom. This is because people will be able to spend their money where they want , if they start saving earlier.By investing a small protion of salary , it will compound after years which can used for some small business. For example, if young individuals invest or save their money , they can buy new car or use that for travelling. Moreover, if they have enough money saved in their account , people can easily leave any unsatisfactory job. This demostrates that saving money not only provide freedom to fulfill dreams but also helps to leave toxic jobs.
Another important factor is that it prepares individuals to deal with any emergency situation. In other words, if people have saved money , they will be able to tackle unexpected circumstances. For instance , if any family member get admitted to hospital suddenly, people can easily use saved money without being stresses for finances.Furthermore, if someone gets laid off from their job , they can search for new opportunities while managing their expenses by using that saved money. These situations show that it is essential for everyone to have some amount of money saved .
In conclusion, i truly believe that saving or investing some amount of money is necessary for having freedom and fullfiling our dreams .It ialso prepares individuals for dealing with challenging circumstances without any financial burden.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have clearly addressed the prompt and maintained a consistent position throughout the essay. Your arguments regarding financial freedom and emergency preparedness are relevant and well-supported with logical explanations and examples, such as the mention of medical emergencies and job loss. To reach a higher band, ensure that your examples are slightly more detailed; for instance, instead of just mentioning 'travelling', you could explain how saving allows for long-term financial security that facilitates personal growth. Overall, you have fully addressed all parts of the task with a clear, developed position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'The most significant reason', 'Moreover', 'In other words', and 'Furthermore' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, the flow is occasionally slightly mechanical, and there are some minor issues with punctuation spacing (e.g., 'nowadays.It'). Improving the variety of your linking phrases and ensuring consistent spacing would enhance the overall flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'financial freedom', 'unexpected circumstances', and 'tackle'. There are some minor spelling errors (e.g., 'protion', 'demostrates', 'fullfiling', 'ialso') and occasional word choice issues, such as 'prepared for emergency situation' (should be 'preparing for emergency situations'). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and ensure careful proofreading to eliminate simple spelling slips, which would allow you to access higher band scores.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as conditional sentences ('if they have enough money saved...'). While your meaning is always clear, there are frequent minor grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the young generation'), subject-verb agreement ('if any family member get admitted'), and pluralization ('emergency situation'). The majority of your sentences are understandable, but the frequency of these small errors prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
