Student answer (Band 4.0)
It is often argued that for everyone, espcially for the young people save money for their future, I strongly agreed with this view people have to saving money for their bad situation also saving money can provide financial security and help young people for their life goals.
First of all saving money is very important because life is unpredictable, we should have saving for the bad situation like road accidant, losing their job etc. on the other hand people saving money for buying house who is living in the rental house and that people that doing job also saving for running new business, growing their study, for their married, most of the people saving to try new activities like explore the places that thay want to go their etc so everyone has saving their own situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, significantly impacting the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the arguments provided are underdeveloped and lack the necessary depth or supporting examples required for an academic essay. The response is essentially a list of reasons rather than a cohesive argument. To improve, you must expand on each point with specific examples and ensure you reach the required length to fully address all parts of the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no proper introduction, body, or conclusion. While you use some transition words like 'First of all' and 'on the other hand', the flow between sentences is disjointed. The paragraphing is insufficient, as the entire response is essentially one long, run-on block of text. To improve, you should organize your ideas into distinct paragraphs, each with a clear topic sentence, and use a wider variety of cohesive devices to link your ideas more logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. You use the word 'saving' or 'save' repeatedly throughout the text. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'growing their study' and 'for their married', which are not natural English expressions. To reach a higher band, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items, and focus on using words in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammar is weak, with frequent errors that occasionally impede communication. There are many run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'It is often argued that... I strongly agreed with this view'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, avoiding run-on sentences, and attempting to incorporate more complex grammatical structures, such as relative clauses or conditional sentences, with greater accuracy.
