Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 176 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, as the arguments remain superficial and lack sufficient supporting evidence or examples. While you clearly state your position in the introduction, the under-length nature of the essay means that the task is only partially addressed. To improve, you must expand on your points with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to ensure a comprehensive response that meets the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. While there is an attempt to use cohesive devices like 'To start with' and 'Moreover', the flow of ideas is often disjointed. Paragraphing is inconsistent, and the final sentence is incomplete, which disrupts the logical progression of the argument. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would greatly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is quite limited and there are frequent spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'modren', 'expinces', 'decresing', 'resurces', 'individuales', and 'espesiacly'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally make the text difficult to read. The range of vocabulary is basic, and there is little evidence of an attempt to use more sophisticated or academic language. To achieve a higher band score, you need to focus on accurate spelling and expanding your range of vocabulary to include more precise, topic-specific terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement, missing articles, and incorrect sentence structure. For example, 'income resurces pretty less' and 'if they studing and there parents will be not able not pay fee'. The reliance on simple sentence structures is high, and attempts at more complex sentences are often marred by errors that impede clarity. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of prepositions and articles before attempting more complex structures.
