Money is indispensable part of human's life. Through money people can purchase every materialistic things and use for betterment of life. But nowadays, many young people have become spendthrift they might not care of investing and saving money. I completely agree with the statement.

To commence with, saving is the vital for everybody. It helps individuals in unfavourable conditions that they have not predicted. For instance, during Covid-19 pandemic lots of people did not get sufficient food, water, and treatment because they might scare of money and became jobless they did not earn money for their family. Thus, any harsh condition saving helps to cope with it. Further, saving also useful for higher education, unemployment and for medical emergencies. Nowadays, many students travel overseas for study purpose then saving can help them to sustain during initial days when they do not have income.

In addition to this, it secures the family's life. Investing money in mutual fund and LIC provide long term good services to family and individuals. However, sometime people take saving extremely serious so that they cannot enjoy their present life. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the essay falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement (242 words), which negatively impacts the development of ideas. While the arguments regarding financial security and education are relevant, they are somewhat under-developed. The example regarding the Covid-19 pandemic is a good attempt at support, but the explanation is slightly disjointed. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed analysis and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for a more comprehensive exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'In addition to this', and 'To recapitulate' to link your points. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the benefits of saving and the potential downside of being a 'miser' is a bit abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring better paragraph unity would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'indispensable', 'materialistic', 'spendthrift', and 'unfavourable conditions'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'might scare of money' instead of 'might be afraid of financial instability' and 'provide long term good services' which is slightly unnatural. Some phrasing is also repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoid basic errors in word form, such as 'saving is the vital' (should be 'saving is vital').

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'Money is indispensable part' (missing article), 'people can purchase every materialistic things' (plurality error), and 'they might scare of money' (incorrect verb form). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence construction will help improve your accuracy.
