Student answer (Band 5.5)
Saving is a beneficial habit which can help any person in future suffering from financial burden. Almost everybody in the world have a habit of saving money. This habit can give special benefit to one if they had habit of saving money from very young age. These habits are even taught in schools in various places for their better future as well.
Money is an important factor in human life. There is no certainty that one can have enough money in times of need. So, most of the people prefers to keep their portion of earning in saving account in banks while other people may invest on market like: bonds, stocks, treasury bills, etc. This often leads to long term financial benefit to one. When talking about specially children, I think it is very much important and beneficial to them. It gives some period of time after their teenage years to think independently about their future.
I think that it also develops a positive habit like: save now and use later in times of need. This also puts less stress in their future life. Also, saving doesn't needs to be for long time. Parents or Teachers can reward children constantly for their habit of saving money to feel them rewarded rather than making them feel betrayed for saving their money while their friends spend it on toys and sweets.
In conclusion, there is hardly any reason to not agree with the statement. Saving their precious money may feel unequal in first but after growing up it would be the best decision that they have ever made in their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating an agreement with the importance of saving money. The position is consistent throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that saving helps with financial burdens and provides independence, the arguments remain at a general level. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or deeper explanations of how saving specifically impacts a young person's future, perhaps by discussing the psychological benefits of financial literacy or the long-term impact of compound interest. The conclusion is clear, but the overall depth of the response is slightly underdeveloped for a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central theme. There is a progression of ideas from the general importance of saving to the specific benefits for children. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the repetitive use of 'This' at the start of sentences. Additionally, some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'these habits') is always precise will help the flow of the essay feel more natural and sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'financial burden', 'invest', and 'independent'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor collocation errors, such as 'feel them rewarded' instead of 'make them feel rewarded' and 'feel unequal' instead of 'feel unfair'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited; using more precise synonyms and idiomatic expressions would elevate the quality of the writing. The errors present do not impede communication, but they do limit the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('everybody... have', 'saving doesn't needs'), missing articles ('in market'), and awkward phrasing ('in times of need'). While you attempt complex sentences, they are often marred by these errors. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Increasing the frequency of error-free sentences is essential for moving into the 7.0 band.
