Student answer (Band 6.0)

In a contemporary society, saving money for their future has emerged as a highly debated issue. While a segment of people claim that it has led to a higher impact on society, others strongly oppose this notion. From my viewpoint, I strongly agree with the given notion because it offers a multitude of significant advantages.

To commence with, the compelling reason for supporting my viewpoint is that young people should save their amount, as it will help them to utilize it

in a right direction, whenever they face any difficult situation. Because a bad circumstances can come anytime without informing, and if people will have enough saving they can easily handle that situation without creating panic. For example, in hospital hefty amount of fortune are being charged from the individuals, so if they will have enough funds, they can probably save a person's life. Thus, it should be teach to every adolescents not to waste their amount on an

unnecessary things.

Another noteworthy justification is that it should be an integral part to almost every juvenile. As from their financial savings, they can invest it in any property, which will be the source of assets for them. Rather than spending on an unimportant things, they can utilize it in a small valuable assets. Moreover, these safety insurance will give them a profit whenever they will willing to sell it. To cite an example, individual should invest in purchasing a small items of gold or in properties, which will be doubled in the upcoming years, and give them a valuable revenue. Therefore, parents should advise their children about the utilization of their wages, and invest it in securing their future.

To sum up, it is imperative for both young generations and elderly people to take a collective and proactive approach to set aside more funds, which will secure their upcoming period, and they will get significant benefits when there will be any ups and downs in their lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt clearly and maintains a consistent position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the importance of emergency funds and long-term investment. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'investing in property' is a bit simplistic for a young person's context. While the main points are supported with examples, some of the reasoning is slightly over-generalized. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced explanations of how saving specifically impacts a young person's future beyond just 'buying gold' or 'handling emergencies'.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph has a central topic, and the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow. You use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'To sum up' to link your points. However, some of the transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly hindered by awkward phrasing, such as 'Because a bad circumstances can come anytime'. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words would enhance the overall cohesion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary society', 'imperative', and 'proactive approach'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'save their amount' (save money), 'hefty amount of fortune' (high medical costs), and 'unimportant things' (unnecessary expenses). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision of your argument. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and using more specific terminology related to financial literacy and personal finance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'it should be teach to every adolescents', 'a small items of gold'). Additionally, there are issues with pluralization and word forms, such as 'a bad circumstances'. These errors occur throughout the text and occasionally require the reader to re-read to grasp the intended meaning. Increasing your control over basic grammatical rules and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
