Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that saving money for future is essential for everyone, especially for younger generation. I strongly believe with this notion because saving money not only builds financial security but also helps to achieving future goals.
The first and foremost reason for saving money specially in young age is to develop good financial habit which builds financial security. Life is uncertain, emergency take place any time related to health, education or any other emergency. In that case, saved money can be useful. Additionally, due to this saved money individual does not have to be dependent on loan or borrowing which can save individual to trap into dept. Another point of this financial security is that if anyone lose their job then the saved money can be helpful for survive for some months until they can find other ways to earn.
Another important reason for saving money is to support anyone's future goal or needs. Saving money continuously can build large amount of saving which can be used for buying a Home, car or any other thing which need large amount of money. Furthermore, saved money for younger generation can be useful for them to pursue higher education or to build new business/startup.
On the other hand, it is not suggested that adult should save every penny that they earn. Spending some money to learn new skills which will help in future is also called investment. Additionally, they have to spend money in current trend and enjoy their life which can be useful experience like go out or travelling.
To conclude, it is important to spend money on ourselves to upgrade our life, build good experiences and live healthy life. However, it is more crucial build habit of some fix portion of income to built financial security and support future goals.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have clearly addressed the prompt and maintained a consistent position throughout the essay. You provided relevant reasons for saving money, such as financial security and achieving long-term goals, and balanced this by acknowledging the importance of spending on personal development. The ideas are generally well-developed, though some points, such as the mention of 'current trend', could have been explained with more depth to fully satisfy the Band 7 requirement for extending and supporting ideas. Overall, the response is focused and directly answers the question asked.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'The first and foremost reason', 'Additionally', and 'On the other hand' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, the use of these devices is sometimes a bit mechanical. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. To reach a higher band, ensure that the transition between sentences is smoother and that referencing (e.g., 'this saved money') is consistently clear and natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms like 'financial security', 'uncertain', and 'pursue higher education'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'helps to achieving' (should be 'helps to achieve'), 'trap into dept' (should be 'debt'), and 'for survive' (should be 'to survive'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and collocations to reach the Band 7 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('in young age' should be 'at a young age'), verb forms ('adult should save' should be 'adults should save'), and prepositions. Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'due to this saved money individual does not have to be dependent'. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences and focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your score in this criterion.
