Student answer (Band 6.5)
Economising the wealth for future is crucial for people of all age groups with inclusion of young people. In my opinion, it is mandatory to save money despite the age group as wealth promised convenience and comfort for future life. However, saving money must not constrain a person from spending on basic life amenities.
Young impressionable minds are the most receptive beings that can adopt a lot from their environment. Elders should instill the habit of husbanding money in teenagers. Mindful spending and saving money will help an individual to thrive through rainy days of his life. Money not only promises future security but also benefit a person with the sense of independence. Young people can incorporate the sense of autonomy and freedom by saving their own money as this can provide them freedom of choice and will make them less dependent on their adults. Saving habits can help to frame their personality and can make youth capable enough to be responsible about their wealth. Adults on the other hand must save money for many vital purposes. In many countries for example in Pakistan governments are not responsible for taking care of elderly leaving them dependant on their families. However, with sufficent saving one can easily thrive to such circumstances and can afford health care and other necessities of life.
However, saving money does not mean pinching pennies as this can make people deprive of vital life experiences. Money should be spent where mandatory. For instance, one must not compromise on consuming nutritious diet, having good health care and spending on quality products. Spending habits must be regulated but not constrained to the point of misery.
To commence this ideology I advocate in favour of developing habit of frugal living and prioritise value driven spending but at the same time this must not be on the cost of basic life needs being compromised.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, clearly stating a position in favor of saving money while acknowledging the need for balance. The ideas are relevant and well-developed, particularly the discussion on the benefits of financial independence for young people and the necessity of savings in countries with limited social security. The argument is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, the student could provide more nuanced examples or explore the potential counter-arguments regarding economic stimulation through spending more deeply, rather than just focusing on personal financial management.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. Each paragraph has a central theme, moving from the importance of saving for youth to the necessity for adults, and finally to the caveat of balanced spending. Cohesive devices such as 'However', 'For instance', and 'On the other hand' are used effectively to link ideas. While the flow is generally smooth, some transitions between sentences could be more sophisticated to avoid a slightly mechanical feel. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student demonstrates a good range of vocabulary, including some less common collocations like 'mindful spending', 'thrive through rainy days', and 'frugal living'. However, there are some instances of slightly unnatural word choices, such as 'economising the wealth' (which is awkward) and 'husbanding money' (which is archaic in this context). The phrase 'make people deprive of' is grammatically incorrect and should be 'deprive people of'. Despite these minor inaccuracies, the vocabulary is sufficient to convey complex ideas clearly and with some precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There is good control over grammar, though some errors persist. For example, 'wealth promised convenience' should be 'wealth promises convenience' (tense consistency), and 'dependant on their families' should be 'dependent' (spelling). The sentence 'To commence this ideology I advocate in favour of...' is slightly awkward in its phrasing. However, these errors do not impede communication, and the student shows a solid grasp of complex structures, such as conditional-like clauses and relative clauses.
