Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the importance of saving for emergencies and skill development, the arguments are brief and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'management skills' is mentioned but not explained. Similarly, the counter-argument regarding the difficulty of saving due to high expenses is relevant but could be better supported with more specific examples beyond just mentioning bills and rents. To reach a higher band, ensure that each main idea is fully extended with clear reasoning and illustrative examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Conversely', 'For instance', and 'In a nutshell'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'For cite an example' (which should be 'For example' or 'To cite an example'). Additionally, the transition between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing or minor grammatical errors that affect the cohesion of the sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some repetitive or imprecise phrasing, such as 'currency for treatment' instead of 'funds for medical expenses' and 'appalling time' to describe emergencies, which is not the correct collocation. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'forecast' instead of 'the future' and 'today life' instead of 'present life'. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'student are stress'), missing articles (e.g., 'if person is diagnosed'), and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'it is hard to saving'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for small errors would be highly beneficial.
