Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is crucial for everybody, especially adults, to save money for their future. I agree with this because it helps people build savings for future purchases and investments.
People can afford cars and many expensive things by saving money. This happens when they will successfully do savings every month. Through this approach they can buy things they dreamed about. For instance, a person, who has savings of $200 per month, can easily afford an expensive car after 2-3 years. Although saving money sometimes very difficult because there are times when you would have to cut your expenditures, it has many benefits later on.
On the other hand, people can do investment with the capital they have, which will be used for their children's education and for starting their own business. This could be possible with the risk free investment plans, such as they can invest in mutual finds and FD's. After 10-20 years, the capital will become a huge amount, so individuals can use that money for their offspring or they can start their business with it. For example, a person with the annual income of around $100,000, It would take him more than 10 years to earn his first million dollars to launch his startup, but with small investments every month enable him to launch his startup early.
In conclusion, It is stated that it is vital for everyone to save money for their Futurity. I do not disagree with this statement because people can purchase expensive things that would not be possible only through their monthly income. Along with that, they can do investments for better capital gain in future for their own use cases.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas regarding purchasing power and investment are relevant and supported with examples, such as the $200 monthly savings scenario and the startup investment example. However, the development is somewhat repetitive, and the focus shifts slightly from the 'young people' mentioned in the prompt to a more general discussion about adults. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that the specific needs or benefits for young people are more explicitly integrated into your arguments rather than just discussing saving in general terms.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion', which help the flow of ideas. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the progression within paragraphs could be smoother. For example, the sentence 'This happens when they will successfully do savings' is a bit clunky. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'this approach', 'that money') is always precise will help elevate the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'expenditures', 'capital', and 'startup'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'do investment' (should be 'make investments'), 'mutual finds' (likely a typo for 'mutual funds'), and 'Futurity' (which is not the standard term for 'future'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over academic vocabulary and common collocations. Expanding your range to include more sophisticated synonyms would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'saving money sometimes very difficult' (missing verb 'is'), 'small investments every month enable him' (subject-verb agreement issue), and punctuation errors like the comma splice in the second paragraph. These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, the correct use of articles, and ensuring that every sentence has a clear main verb.
