Student answer (Band 6.0)

Saving money is a necessary factor everybody, including youngsters. However, I am on the same wavelength with them because of financial security in emergencies and develops good financial habits.

One of my major approval for my approval to this viewpoint is the financial security in emergencies. This is due to fact that saving money helps young people to deal with unexpected expenses, such as medical bills, education costs, or family emergencies, without borrowing money from any other person. For instance, if a student saves part of their pocket money every month, they can use it to pay for their education and on any other required thing. Thus, students can get able to get their own required things by the savings.

Another significant point in its favor is that it develops good financial habits. To elaborate, learning to save money from a young age teches people to control unnecessary spending and manage their income responsibilty and youngsters also get stable in their future regarding the funds even they can also become a successful buisnessman in their life. For example, saving a small amount of pocket money regularly can teach young people to control unnecessary spending and become financial reponsible. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of saving money for young people, agreeing with the statement and providing reasons. However, the introduction contains a noticeable grammatical error and lacks a complete main clause, stating 'Saving money is a necessary factor everybody, including youngsters.' The position is generally clear throughout, and the student supports their ideas with examples, such as students saving pocket money for education. While the ideas are relevant, some parts are slightly repetitive and under-developed, particularly in the third paragraph where the business idea is mentioned briefly without much elaboration. Nevertheless, the main task requirements are met, and the overall stance is sustained. This performance aligns well with Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points, such as financial security in emergencies versus developing good financial habits. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty. For instance, the transition 'One of my major approval for my approval to this viewpoint' contains awkward repetition and unidiomatic phrasing. Referencing and cohesive devices such as 'To elaborate' and 'Therefore' are employed, but some sentences feel slightly disjointed or rely on repetitive connective patterns. Overall progression is visible, but the management of cohesive ties prevents the score from reaching Band 7. This reflects a solid Band 6 performance.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'financial security', 'unexpected expenses', and 'prosperity'. However, there are several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors that detract from the writing. Examples include 'teches' (teaches), 'responsibilty' (responsibly), 'buisnessman' (businessman), and 'reponsible' (responsible). Additionally, phrases like 'on any other required thing' and 'get able to get' sound awkward and lack precision. While communication is not severely impeded, the frequency of lexical and spelling inaccuracies keeps the score at a Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating relative clauses and conditional structures, such as 'if a student saves part of their pocket money every month, they can use it to pay for their education'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasings throughout the text, including missing prepositions or incorrect verb forms like 'students can get able to get their own required things' and 'even they can also become a successful buisnessman'. Punctuation is generally acceptable, but grammatical inaccuracy in complex structures is noticeable. Because errors occur frequently but rarely impede overall understanding, this performance corresponds to a Band 5.5.
