Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely important for individuals of all the ages to save capital, which will benefit them in long run. I am completely agree with this statement.
To begin with, it is widely observed that people spend their hard earned money on stuff which they do not really require and they buy it just to match the level of their society. Many of them are not aware that inflammation is touching the sky these days, daily essentials are getting more expensive and difficult to afford by people with average salaries. Medical fecilities are also becoming harder to get. Not only this, but the quality education is eventually becoming a dream for many parents to afford for their child.
Looking all these factors, saving money is becoming a crucial part of everyone's life. Money is that bridge which can save one from getting sinked whenever they experience difficult phase in their life. One can afford to have a better lifestyle if they invested their money in the valueable assets like land and gold, which will benefits them in the long run rather than spending it on things just to satisfy the societie's expectations. Along with this, government should also take necessary steps to provide better medical and education facilities to every person of the society in affordable prices, so that it feels less burden on their pockets.
To sum up, it is really an important practice for every person to save money which will eventually benefits them in their long run. Also, parents are the first teacher and they should teach the benefits of saving money to their pupils so that they get to know the real value of the money.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing that everyone, including young people, should save money. The main ideas are relevant, discussing inflation, societal pressures, and the importance of investing in assets like gold and land. However, some ideas lack full extension and contain minor generalisations, such as the suggestion that governments should provide affordable medical and educational facilities. While the arguments directly support the prompt, they would benefit from further specific elaboration to reach higher band levels. Overall, the task is successfully fulfilled, aligning well with the Band 6.5 to Band 7 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organised into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, demonstrating an overall clear progression. Cohesive devices are used appropriately, such as 'To begin with', 'Looking all these factors', and 'To sum up'. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'Looking all these factors' instead of 'Looking at all these factors'. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate distinct points, but referencing and cohesion occasionally show minor lapses in flow, placing this performance firmly in the Band 6 category.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms like 'hard earned money', 'essentials', 'inflation', and 'valuable assets'. However, there are notable word choice and spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'all the ages' instead of 'all ages', 'inflammation' instead of 'inflation', 'fecilities' instead of 'facilities', and 'societie's' instead of 'society's'. Furthermore, phrases like 'getting sinked' reveal limitations in collocation. These inaccuracies do not impede overall communication, but they prevent the lexical score from rising above Band 6.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including relative clauses and conditional-style reasoning. There are, however, several grammatical errors present, such as 'I am completely agree' (should be 'I completely agree'), 'difficult to afford by people' (should be 'difficult for people to afford'), and 'it feels less burden' (should be 'it places less of a burden'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, and while the errors are frequent enough to detract from complete accuracy, they rarely impede the reader's understanding, fitting the Band 6 descriptor well.
