Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the current societal landscape, it is often allege that it is necesary for every individual to save money for future so this habit will help them to stay protected from facing financial probelms in upcoming years. I fully agree with this perspective and this essay will discuss why.
Major reason to support this view is that saving will help them to pay large future cost. In other words, reserve in their accounts will help them pay sudden bills of hospital and clinics. Moreover, by having savings in bank accounts they can invest them and can enjoy compund interest which people can use to buy luxuries. For instance, if person want repair their car they do not need to borrow money from others and they can simply use their savings for modifications.
Another reason to support this statement is that if youngsters will save money they can use it to open buisness and if they have long time they should let their money grow and earn interest. This means that they can save money and use for their future needs.
For instance, my friend is spending money on stock market through SIP and earning high interest on that which will make his future more comfortable. Moreover, lesson of savings should taught in schools so students can understand its importance.
To sum up, I entirely believe that to save money for future is important because this will help them to get rid of financial burden and can handle the future expenses.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by expressing a clear and fully supported position agreeing with the statement that everyone, including young people, should save money. The response outlines relevant reasons, such as preparing for large future costs, investing in businesses, and gaining financial security. Ideas are generally well extended, although some supporting examples, such as the mention of SIP in the stock market, are slightly brief. The position remains consistent throughout the essay, culminating in a clear summary. The response successfully meets the task requirements by exploring both personal and broader implications of saving money, aligning well with the descriptors for a Band 6.5 or solid 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, such as emergency expenses versus business investment. However, some cohesive devices feel mechanical or are missing, and referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in phrases like 'this habit will help them' where the antecedent is slightly broad. There are also instances of repetition in how arguments are introduced, such as 'Major reason to support this view is...' and 'Another reason to support this statement is...'. These minor flaws place the response securely in the Band 6 category for logical progression and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'financial burden', 'compund interest' (spelled incorrectly as compund), and 'modifications'. There are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'allege' instead of alleged, 'necesary', 'probelms', 'buisness', and 'compund'. Despite these inaccuracies, communication is rarely impeded, and the vocabulary used is sufficient to convey the intended meaning. This performance fits the Band 5.5 to 6 criteria, reflecting an adequate range with some persistent lexical errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety through conditional structures like 'if person want repair their car they do not need to borrow money'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'if person want', 'repair their car' missing 'to', and 'lesson of savings should taught'. Punctuation is generally acceptable, and while errors are present, they do not impede overall communication. These features reflect the Band 5.5 to 6 descriptors, characterised by a mix of structures and persistent grammatical inaccuracies.
