Student answer (Band 5.0)
MONEY IS VERY IMPORTANT IN EVERYONE'S LIFE. PEOPLE CAN NOT BUY ANYTHING IF THEY DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO PAY. EVERYONE NEEDS TO SAVE MONEY FOR THEIR FUTURE. I AM AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT.
EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE IN THESE DAYS. If you want anything to eat or wear, we have to pay for that. SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO SAVE MONEY FOR FUTURE. YOUNG PEOPLE MAY FACE UNEXPECTED EXPENSES IN THE FUTURE. ALSO, SAVING WILL HELP WITH EDUCATION, MEDICAL, BUYING HOME OR STARTING NEW BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT NEED TO DEPEND ON PARENTS FOR THEIR SMALL EXPENSES OR FOR LOANS AS WELL. FOR EXAMPLE, STUDENT WHO WORK PART TIME JOB AND SAVE THEIR HALF OF THE PAY, IN FUTURE THAT MONEY THEY CAN USE TO PAY THEIR FEE.
SAVING MONEY CAN MAKE YOU SELF-DISCIPLINE. YOUNG PEOPLE CAN LEARN TO MAKE WISHES ACCORDING TO THEIR BUDGETS AND THEY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEEDS AND WANTS. THESE SMALL HABITS CAN HELP THEM IN ADULTHOOD. FOR EXAMPLE, SOME PEOPLE WHO REGUARLY SAVE 20% OF THEIR PAY MAY BECOME MORE FINANCILLY RESPONSIBLE AS AN ADULT.
IN CONCLUSION, SAVING MONEY CAN HELP TO FULFIL YOUR DREAMS IN FUTURE. HAVING GOOD FINANCIAL GOAL CAN MOTIVATE THEM TO WORK AND MANAGE MONEY CAREFULLY. SOME TIME WE USE THAT MONEY IN FUTURE TO COMPLETE OUR DREAM FOR TRAVLE OUTSIDE OF YOUR COUNTRIES.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position of agreement regarding the importance of saving money for the future. Ideas such as managing unexpected expenses, funding education, and building financial discipline are introduced and supported with basic examples. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat limited and repetitive. Crucially, the response falls short of the minimum word count requirement, containing only 226 words instead of the required 250 words. This under-length impacts the overall fullness of the response, preventing it from reaching a higher band. Consequently, the task achievement is awarded a band score of 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a basic structural organization with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though the frequent use of all-capital letters detracts from the professional presentation of the text. Cohesive devices are basic and sometimes mechanical, such as 'ALSO', 'FOR EXAMPLE', and 'IN CONCLUSION'. Progression is discernible, but referencing is occasionally loose, such as the pronoun shifts between 'you', 'we', and 'they' within the same context. Overall, the arrangement provides a coherent flow that remains understandable, aligning well with the descriptors for Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, utilizing everyday terms like 'VERY IMPORTANT', 'BUY ANYTHING', and 'SMALL EXPENSES'. There are noticeable lexical errors, such as 'I AM AGREE' instead of 'I AGREE', and awkward phrasing like 'MAKE WISHES ACCORDING TO THEIR BUDGETS' and 'TRAVLE OUTSIDE OF YOUR COUNTRIES' (which also contains a spelling error). While the range is minimally adequate to convey the writer's basic points, the frequent inaccuracies and limited control over less common vocabulary restrict the score to a 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writing relies heavily on simple sentences alongside a few basic complex structures. Grammatical accuracy is inconsistent, with frequent errors including punctuation issues, capitalization errors (writing entirely in uppercase), and incorrect phrasing such as 'IN THESE DAYS' instead of 'THESE DAYS' or 'TODAY'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage also show occasional lapses, as seen in 'student who work part time job'. However, the meaning is generally clear despite these errors, supporting a band score of 5.0.
