Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding the importance of saving money for the future, including young people. The writer takes a clear position in agreement with the statement. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument that people face problems without savings is reiterated multiple times (e.g., 'they will be worring about the money and not manage all the expense') without being extended with concrete examples or varied perspectives. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the lack of deeper elaboration and the circular nature of the arguments place this performance within Band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text suffers significantly from a lack of proper paragraphing, as it is presented as one long, dense block of text instead of distinct paragraphs for an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are minimal, repetitive, and often inaccurate, relying heavily on simple conjunctions like 'and', 'because', and 'then' to link clauses. Furthermore, referencing is frequently unclear, such as in the phrase 'so that's we will be not facaing any problem', which disrupts the logical flow and progression of ideas. Consequently, the overall organization fails to meet the standards for Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and limited in range. Throughout the text, the writer repeatedly relies on the same basic words, such as 'money', 'important', 'future', and 'save'. There are numerous word choice and spelling errors, such as 'imortant', 'livin', 'worring', 'easyest', 'peofit', and 'facaing'. While the intended meaning can generally be understood despite these noticeable errors, the lack of less common lexical items and the persistent inaccuracies prevent the response from achieving a Band 5.5, keeping it firmly at Band 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, consisting primarily of repetitive, simple or faulty complex sentences. There are frequent, systematic grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing auxiliary verbs, incorrect verb tenses, and structural confusion (e.g., 'When some people not save the money and they spending it', 'what will be they do?', and 'People who's believe that we should save the money our our future'). Punctuation is also weak, marked by run-on sentences connected incorrectly with commas. These persistent errors frequently cause strain and difficulty for the reader.
