IELTS Writing Task 2 question
It is important for everyone, including young people, to save money for their future.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this contemporary era, it is necessary for every person including adult and young people to preserve their wealth for upcoming days. I hardly believe that individuals should save some of their money for rainy days too. So they don't have to worry about money if any type of difficulty comes.
I am agree and desagree too at the same time. First of all the reason why I am agree with this statement is that it is a good habit to save money for the future. Because future is uncertain no one knows what type of time comes after the present stage of the life. May be good time comes for them and bad time can come too. It depends on their fate.
And the reason why I am disagree with this idea is that as I mentioned earlier that future is uncertain no one knows what will happen in the very next moment except the God who created us. Whether we will be alive or not no one knows. That's why I am saying we shouldn't have to worry about our future. Just live the moment peacefully which they are having at the present. We should not preserve our money for the next day by doing stinginess that if we utilize that money today then what we will do the next day?
But mostly I am in the favour of idea about saving money because it is a good thing. For example, few months ago it was the mid of month I had few rupees which I spent on unnecessary things but the very next days my friends came. I become worried because I had no money to bring something for them I have to borrow from my neighbourhood. That day I realized that we should save of our wealth for rainy days too.
In consequence with this, it is a great obsession to save money. Parents should teach their children to save money for the upcoming days so they don't feel bad about having no money.
