Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely agreed that accumulating funds including young adults for future purpose is necessary. I believe that savings are essential for fulfilling needs big or small.
Overall, savings can decrease stress and make life little smooth, these days most of the needs are related with money, funds can make it easy to get them without worrys. these days from morning news paper to night dinner every thing need money to buy, but we sometimes delay some things due to difficulty in funds, for this we need to save money. for example we always delay in making health insurance due to the large sum neede to make during the insurance application so we skip it all the time but it will becom impornant when we face a certain disease or accident where the hospital charges us large sum as bill but we are short of money so it is essential to gather funds in our day to day life.
In addition, now-a-days studies are important and they have become costly, so it is essential for young people to save prior which will reduce the stress to pay the fee during the right time, not only fee or insurance the dialy expenses also incresed in day-to-day for this we need a saving method of money as a dialy routien which make future stress free and live a happy life.
In conclusion, young adults need to make saving in their early lifes so the future will be of stress and worry free and also they can focus on the bright future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the importance of saving money for young people and the future, presenting a clear position that savings are essential. The main ideas, such as reducing stress, funding education, and managing unexpected health expenses, are relevant to the topic. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the example regarding health insurance is extended into a long run-on sentence without sufficient depth in reasoning or broader application. While the writer covers all parts of the task with a discernible stance, the arguments lack full extension and academic polish. Therefore, this performance aligns closely with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a basic overall progression, utilizing standard introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs. However, paragraphing and sentence boundaries are poorly managed, characterized by massive run-on sentences joined by commas rather than appropriate conjunctions or full stops (e.g., '...so we skip it all the time but it will becom impornant when we face a certain disease...'). Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes repetitive or inaccurate. While the central topic is maintained throughout the text, the lack of punctuation control and mechanical cohesion prevents the response from achieving a higher score, making Band 5 the most accurate descriptor.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate basic ideas about money, savings, and stress. However, the range is limited, and there are noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling throughout the essay. Examples of lexical errors include 'worrys' instead of worries, 'impornant' instead of important, 'dialy' instead of daily, and 'lifes' instead of lives. The writer attempts some less common phrases like 'accumulating funds' and 'health insurance', but frequent errors in spelling and collocation place the response firmly at Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. A major issue is the pervasive use of comma splices, resulting in long, rambling sentences that lack correct syntactic boundaries. There are also frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'every thing need money' instead of 'everything needs money' and 'make saving' instead of 'make savings'. While simple sentences are generally understandable, errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, matching the criteria for Band 5.
