Student answer (Band 5.5)
Money plays an important role for human survival. However, In this contemporary era, some people consider that it is an important for everyone, including youngsters and old people to save money for their future. I strongly agree with this view because without money we are not able to live a handsome life.
There are many reasons why i agree with this view. First and foremost, Money play a vital role in our lifes, For example, In this era, without money we are not able to get any food even water. Nowadays all the things are now more expensive. So, saving money for future is best because we have no idea about future. Secondly, If we wat to fulfil our dreams then saving money is the best option, For this some people invest their monsy in golds and cars, So, when the price of this on its peak then they sell their things in good prices.
On the other hand, I also disagree with this view for some reasons, Firstly, We have no idea about future, So if we save a lot of money for future and bychance we may die in the comming days then all the money is not usefull. Secondly, I believe that we have to fulfill our dreams time to time rather then saving all the money. For future we have to work hard instead of saving all money.
In the end, I conclude it with some reasons, It is benificial for our future to have a lot money in banks becuase we have no idea about future or maybe if any virus come in the future then this money may play a big role for that time. Also i consider that we have no idea about our life time, So we should fulfill our dreams at a time instead of saving money for the coming years.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by stating a clear position of strong agreement with the prompt. The response presents relevant ideas, such as the necessity of money for basic survival and achieving personal dreams, as well as counter-arguments regarding the unpredictability of the future. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the argument that we have 'no idea about future' is reiterated several times across multiple paragraphs without being significantly expanded. Furthermore, the inclusion of the counter-argument section slightly muddies the student's stated strong agreement, though it still falls within a recognisable argumentative structure. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, placing it firmly at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The response maintains a coherent overall arrangement with basic paragraphing used to separate the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. The student relies heavily on repetitive transitional phrases like 'First and foremost,' 'Secondly,' and 'On the other hand,' but punctuation errors surrounding these markers (such as comma splices like 'Money play a vital role in our lifes, For example, In this era...') disrupt the flow. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the progression of ideas stumbles when the writer abruptly shifts perspectives in the third paragraph. Paragraphing is present, but internal logical transitions require more precision to achieve a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items such as 'contemporary era,' 'fulfil our dreams,' and 'benificial.' However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'lifes' instead of 'lives,' 'monsy' instead of 'money,' 'golds' instead of 'gold,' 'comming' instead of 'coming,' and 'benificial' instead of 'beneficial.' While these errors do not seriously impede communication because the reader can easily deduce the intended meaning, they prevent the score from rising into the higher bands due to inaccuracies in spelling and morphological forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilising conditionals ('If we wat to fulfil our dreams then saving money is the best option') and modal verbs. However, grammatical control is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'Money play a vital role' and 'all the things are now more expensive,' alongside persistent punctuation issues like comma splices ('...dreams is the best option, For this some people...'). Article usage is also occasionally flawed ('in golds and cars', 'in the future'). Although the meaning remains understandable, the density of basic structural and mechanical errors keeps the grammar score at Band 5.0.
