It is important for everyone, including young people, to save money for their future.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Student answer (Band 6.5)

It is widely argued that saving money for the future is vital for every generation, specially for younger generation. Saving money plays an important role in unpredictable future, because ite provide a crucial safety and lays the foundation for for long term personal and economic independence.I completely agree with this view as financial prudence provide a crucial safety net.

The primary reason why everyone should save money is unforeseen future. Anyone in life would have to need finance in emergency such as sudden medical crisis, loss of job, economic recessions. Individuals who have personal savings can navigate these challenging period without borrowing money as debt. For example, in covid everyone had to live in house, jobs were lost, faced poor medical conditions, all these circumstances were copped-up easily by those who had savings at that time.

This habit is particularly indispensable for young people who often face unique financial pressure at the start of their adult lives. Developing the discipline to save early allows youth to fund major life milestones such as pursuing higher education, buying home and starting business ventures. This early financial discipline fosters a sense of responsibility and protecting them from impulsive purchases habits that frequently lead to long-term financial distress.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that saving money is an indispensible practice for people of all ages. For adults, it provides a vital shield against life's uncertainties and ensure retirement securities, while for youth, it establishes a solid platform for future milestones and long term financial freedom.
