A samll amount of saving will become a large investment in far future. Saving money works like a key to multiple for example purchasing Luxuries, fulfilling needs, works on your dreams.
Saving money is irrespective to age. A teenager should know the importance as much as a 60 year old knows. If anyone make a habit to save money at very young age, It will help them to invest in multiple options. My father is a perfect example for me. He belongs to a lower middle class family. He used to work along my grand father at their shop after coming back home from school. Although, his friends used to play cricket and insest him for playing too. But, my father ignores his friends and use to work tirelessly and save the money which my grandfather gave him, He work for 3 years besides his studies and save a decent amount. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear stance that saving money is important for everyone, including young people. The candidate attempts to develop ideas by using a personal example of their father's success through saving, and their own intention to follow suit. However, the development of ideas lacks depth in places, with some sweeping assertions such as 'Saving money works like a key to multiple for example purchasing Luxuries, fulfilling needs, works on your dreams.' Furthermore, the opening sentence contains a tense error ('I strongly agreed'), shifting inconsistently into the present tense. Despite these minor issues, all parts of the prompt are addressed, presenting a relevant position and supporting examples, which aligns well with the requirements for Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the writing into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a concluding sentiment. Paragraphing is present, although paragraph breaks could be handled more logically (for instance, separating the father's anecdote from the personal application). Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Although', 'After completing', and 'Now', but referencing and conjunctions are sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in sentences like 'He work for 3 years besides his studies and save a decent amount.' Progression is generally visible, but transitions between sentences can feel abrupt, which places the response firmly within Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'investment', 'irrespective', 'tirelessly', and 'outlets'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, such as 'brigthen' instead of brighten, 'samll' instead of small, 'insest' instead of insist, 'employs' instead of employees, and 'foodsteps' instead of footsteps. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they reflect a lack of precision and control over spelling and collocations, making Band 5.0 the most accurate description for this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional structures ('If anyone make a habit...') and relative clauses ('which i will design by my will'). However, there is a high frequency of grammatical errors involving verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples include 'Saving money is irrespective to age', 'anyone make', 'He work for 3 years', 'He work over their', and 'He have 20 outlets'. These frequent errors in basic and intermediate structures can cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching a higher band, earning a solid Band 5.0.
