Student answer (Band 7.0)

It is often argued that, seeting aside money for the uture is essential for all generations, particularly the younger individuals. I completely agree with this statements because financial saving provide security during unforeseen emergencies and enables long-term independence and investments.

One important reason is that having money acts as a financial safety net during unexpected events. Life is unpredictable, and emergencies such as medical crises, sudden job losses, or urgent repair needs can arise at any time. Without personal savings, individuals are often forced to borrow money on rely on heavily on family and goverment support, which leads to debt and mental stress. Furthermore, when young people build the habit of saving early, they develop financial discipline and responsibility, ensuring they are well-prepared for any unforseen financial difficulties in adulthood.

In addition, saving money empowers individuals to achivelong-term goals and gain financial independence. Accumulated saving allow people to pursue higher education, invest in property , or start a business without soley depending on loans. For instance, young professionals who manage to save a portion of their income can invest in their income. For young generations, early savings compound over time, providing them with greater financial freedom to make career choices, travel, or plan for retirement comfortably. Consequently. financial security at a young age builds asolid foundartion for lifelong stability.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that saving money is vital for everyone. It not only protects individuals from unexpected financials strain but also provides the resources foundation needed to achieve personal goals and secure a prosperous future.

The student displays a sufficient range of vocabulary with some flexibility and precision, attempting less common items such as 'financial safety net', 'unforeseen emergencies', and 'financial discipline'. Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5

The response incorporates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, demonstrating attempts at varied grammar such as conditional-like relationships ('Without personal savings, individuals are often forced to...') and relative clauses ('young professionals who manage to save...'). However, there are several grammatical and mechanical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('financial saving provide'), preposition errors ('rely on heavily on'), punctuation issues (a stray full stop in 'Consequently.'), and minor typos. These errors do not impede communication, but they occur frequently enough to prevent the response from achieving a higher band score.
