Due to several compelling reasons. This essay will not only elaborate on my viewpoint but also provide relevant examples to support it.

To commence with, one of the significant reason to save for financial security and developing financial discipline. Young people may face unexpected events such as job loss, health and medical bills and family problem or emergencies. For instance, A young employee who lost his or her job can cover their rent and daily expenses through their savings. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The student presents a clear overall position agreeing that young people should save money for their future. The main ideas are relevant and supported with explanations and examples, such as job loss and unexpected medical bills. However, the response suffers from a minor structural flaw right at the beginning where a fragment occurs ('Due to several compelling reasons.'). Furthermore, because the Length Check explicitly indicates that the response contains 249 words—falling just one word short of the 250-word minimum requirement—a minor penalty must be applied under Task Achievement for not meeting the length specification. This keeps the score at a Band 6.0, as some parts are slightly underdeveloped and the length requirement is narrowly missed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay is generally coherent with a clear overall progression. The response is divided into four paragraphs with distinct introductory, body, and concluding sections. Cohesive devices are used to signal relationships between ideas, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and phrasing in transitional phrases can be somewhat mechanical or clumsy, as seen in 'To commence with, one of the significant reason...'. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but overall the cohesive framework shows some minor inaccuracies and mechanical usage that prevent it from reaching a Band 7.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for the task, incorporating terms like 'financial security', 'financial discipline', 'independent', and 'unforeseen circumstances'. However, there are noticeable word-form and grammatical collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'one of the significant reason' (should be reasons), 'saving assist individual' (should be assists individuals), and 'A young student who save' (should be saves). These inaccuracies, combined with attempts at less common vocabulary that lack precision, place the lexical score firmly in the Band 6.0 category.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including relative clauses and conditional structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors in agreement and tense consistency, such as 'younger generation should save' (missing article 'the'), 'one of the significant reason to save for financial security and developing' (parallelism and verb missing), and 'A young employee who lost... can cover' (tense shift). Additionally, punctuation and capitalization errors appear, such as capitalizing 'A' in the middle of sentences ('For instance, A young employee...'). These errors occasionally create minor friction for the reader, justifying a score of 6.0.
