Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern era, saving money has become a hot topic of discussion all over the world. This is more beneficial for upcoming future generation to save money. This essay is totally going to agree that saving money for future is more crucial for both youngsters and adult.
Nowadays, people are facing many difficulties buying many ietms according to their need which mainly includes money. Saving money is also a good habit among youngsters nowadays. For instance, one of my neighbour had a several head injury due to an accident which became a serious problem. His father used to save money in the bank from his monthly income. Due to his saving his son was able to get a good treatment in a good hospital with expert doctors. If he would not have saved money then he would not get right treatment at a time. This set an example to his son for his upcoming future also to save money cause it will surely help them in future to overcome the obstracles.
However, the youngsters should also save money cause we cannot predict a future anything can happen and we may face many consequences. I personally suggest all the group of individuals to save money either in bank or in a locker which would be safe. Another example is that in this time people of nepal faced a uncertain disaster which took many lives and shelter of the people at this time the saving helped them to survive them from disaster by providing them a financial support to get food, clothes, and shelter.
In my opinion , saving money for upcoming future is more crucial cause their generations would not face many consequences like the people from the past faced like dying from hunger and not getting enough opportunities to get good and quality life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by taking a clear position that saving money is crucial for both youngsters and adults. The writer attempts to support this stance with relevant examples, such as a neighbour with a head injury and the mention of a disaster in Nepal. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. The arguments tend to wander into general statements rather than fully extending the reasoning behind why saving is important specifically for future financial stability. The position is maintained throughout, but the depth of support places this performance at Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different supporting points. However, cohesion at the sentence level is occasionally faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition 'Another example is that in this time people of nepal faced a uncertain disaster' is abrupt and lacks smooth integration. Referencing and cohesive ties such as 'cause', 'at this time', and 'this' are sometimes repetitive or imprecise, which disrupts the logical flow and progression, fitting the Band 6 descriptor well.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'obstracles' and 'financial support'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'ietms' instead of items, 'neighbour' used with 'a several head injury', and 'uncertain disaster' instead of unforeseen disaster. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they demonstrate a lack of precision and control over less common lexical items, indicating a typical Band 5 performance in this area.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional clauses ('If he would not have saved money then he would not get right treatment'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses, conditionals ('If he would not have saved' instead of 'If he had not saved'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also faulty in places, such as the spacing before commas ('In my opinion ,'). Although these errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding the message, their frequency places the grammar firmly at a Band 5 level.
