To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Student answer (Band 6.5)

In this contemporary society, the importance of saving money for future, freequently features in public debate. Financial management plays a cruicial role in day-to-day life of people, including the younger generation; because of that I vehemently agree with the notion. This essay will discuss my accordance along with credible examples and a reasoned conclusion.

The chief rationalization for my accordance stems from multifarious causes. Firstly, the habit of saving money will give strength for their future. To elaborate, money in hand ensure a great opportunity for students to pursue their higher education without relaying on unwated debt. This will not only give the sense of self-reliance but also provide wide range of chance to nurture own abilities. Due to this youngsters can choose their career path without depending on their parents or any other financial institution. The prime example for this can be, according to the report published by State Bank of India, 85% of students who having the habit of saving money from their income will not need a bank loan to fund their abroad studies. Hence, in order to achieve financial independence, individuals should grow the healthy habit of conserving money.

Another factor of paramount importance supporting my perspective is practice of keeping money will offer sense of security. To elucidate, life is always unpredictable, emergencies such as medical expense or sudden unemployment can cause sever damage to an individual's life. If a person have a systematic savings plan, they can easily manage the hardship without looking for help from others. For instance, during Covid-19 pandemic, youngsters who build a financial backup from their salary, easily managed the rent and other expenses without seeking help from family members. Thus, a solid personal fund will help people to have a peace mind during an emergency situation.

To recapitulate, financial management have a significant role in modern society. It can make younger generation to acieve their future goal and allow people not to get panic when they need to face a hardship. So, the habit of saving money facilitate human life with financial freedom and confidence to manage uncertinities.
