Student answer (Band 6.0)
Saving money for the future is a subject of debate. It is often believed that everyone, including adults and young generations should save some money for their future. I totally agree with this statement because it helps people not only with unexpected situations and crisis but also gives finacial security.
Unexpected traumas and crisis could be happen anytime in life. So if people have this habbit of saving money, it will eventually help them to overcome such conditions. For instance, recently, some of our relative's company caught fire, but they have enough savings to build a new workplace. Consequently, this unexpected condition does not affect them as much because of their saving. In addition, people should save amount for other purposes as well, such as birthday parties, marriages and annivarsaries. This habbit will help them to attend events happily.
Another major reason of my agreement is that saving money may help people achieve financial security. This is particulary demonstrated when someone wants to purchase a property or utilise their money in valuabe asses, such as gold or silver, it may increase the worth of their money in future. This ultimately helps them to grow financially and can make more assests. In addition, young people should have this saving habbit as they can easily purchase anything they want, such as toys, painting, books etc. Therefore, everyone, including young people should save a considerable amount of money every month.
In conclusion, although money saving is not an easy approach these days, I strongly believe that everyone should save some amount every month from their salaries or pocket money as it helps them to face unexpected situations and make them able to attend events without frustration, also it helps them to make assests for future. In addition, it can make children happy because they can buy anything they wany from their savings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task and presents a clear overall position regarding the importance of saving money. The main ideas are generally relevant, such as financial security and preparing for emergencies, but some parts are less fully developed than others. For example, the argument regarding young people saving money for toys or books is somewhat trivialized and lacks the depth seen in the points about crisis management. To reach a higher band, the writer needs to extend and support all main ideas with more sophisticated, universally applicable examples rather than shifting to superficial illustrations like purchasing children's toys.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance maintained throughout the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Information and ideas are logically sequenced with the use of cohesive devices like 'consequently', 'in addition', and 'therefore'. However, referencing and cohesion can sometimes feel a bit mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on 'in addition' to introduce new points. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct arguments, but to achieve a higher band, the transitional links between sentences need to be smoother and more flexible, avoiding predictable formulas while maintaining logical progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, successfully communicating the main ideas. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items such as 'financial security', 'unexpected situations', and 'valuabe asses', but these attempts are occasionally marred by spelling errors like 'finacial', 'habbit', 'annivarsaries', 'asses', and 'wany'. Word choice and collocations are generally acceptable for a basic communicative range, though occasional inaccuracies occur, such as 'unexpected traumas and crisis could be happen'. To move up, the writer must eliminate spelling mistakes and demonstrate a more precise, natural control of less common lexical items and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating a decent attempt at varying structures with clauses like 'This is particulary demonstrated when someone wants to...'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, such as missing articles ('catch fire', 'have enough savings'), subject-verb agreement issues ('crisis could be happen'), and minor punctuation spacing omissions. However, these errors rarely impede communication and the meaning remains clear. To reach a higher band, the essay would require a greater frequency of error-free complex sentences and stricter control over articles, prepositions, and verb phrase formations.
