Student answer (Band 5.5)
People believe that saving money for future is beneficial for every person even if they are adolescents. I firmly agree with the statement, as immature should also save a little money every month from the pocket money they had given, so this will help them in future in many ways.
To begin with, there are many reasons why people should do savings for later as it will help them in long term investments and it is also important for young individuals to save some amount rather than spending it on unnecessary things. Nowadays teenagers spending so much money on those things which is not beneficial for them and they waste them in various ways, therefore they should keep that cash in a saving box instead wasting it on useless stuff. Take an example of a youngster, who spend his pocket money on things which he does not need but he just bought it because he has money, so if this person save that money for the later so he can get an expensive useful thing on that money.
Furthermore, adolescents with savings can explore many beautiful places with their own money. For instance if they save money from many time so when the time they turn into adult stage and need for more many to travel with friends and explore, so this will be ease for them rather than collecting money from others. In addition, they will also use that money on other things in the future like to help others and invest in goods.
To conclude, I believe that if young people start savings so it will be more advantageous for them and also they will be free from many money hurdles in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing that young people should save money. Relevant ideas are presented, such as curbing unnecessary spending on useless stuff and accumulating funds for future travel and investments. However, some ideas are under-developed or repetitive. For example, the argument regarding adolescents traveling in the future is introduced with an example that lacks specific depth and relies on generalization. The main points are outlined, but they would benefit from further extension and more precise real-world examples to fully develop the discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, ensuring the general progression of the writer's argument is visible. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty and mechanical. For instance, transitional phrases such as "To begin with," "Furthermore," and "To conclude" are used, but referencing within and between sentences is occasionally unclear or repetitive, such as the pronoun referencing in phrases like "so this will be ease for them rather than collecting money from others." Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points, but internal cohesion requires smoother transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used provides an adequate range for the task, allowing the student to communicate their main arguments. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice, word form, and collocation that occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include phrasing like "immature should also save" instead of "immature individuals" or "young people," "money hurdles," and errors in word forms such as "doing savings" instead of "saving" or "saving money." Attempts to use less common vocabulary are present, but errors in collocation and precision prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying on a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are noticeable errors in grammar, verb forms, and articles throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues and tense inconsistencies such as "pocket money they had given" instead of "they are given," "teenagers spending so much money" lacking an auxiliary verb, and "if this person save that money." While communication is generally maintained, frequent structural errors persist and prevent the writing from achieving a higher level of grammatical control.
