Student answer (Band 5.0)

Saving money for future is an important aspect for both young and adults saving money also allows people to invest for their future.Overall, every young and adult should save money for their future it helps them to focus on their needs or requirements better in future. Most of the people, belive that saving money is a great investment for future many young, adults, and old people save their money by buying gold buying lands or investing in any schemes which may benefit them infuture moat of the young peoples saving money ideas are different compare to others they usally do by saving money in lockers, piggy banks,or by given money as debt to others for specific period of time when comapre to elder peole their approach is totally different they try to save their money by investing in the properties, gold or any deals through which they can benefit with it also it will be helpful for tem for their future. On the other hands, their are some other people they dont invest money or they are likely to save money for future they believe that spending money should be done with full of interest in present rather them saving money for future they also believe that spending money on their present makes them happy and feel connected to the present moments so they don't want to compromise with their feelings they wanted to spend as much as they can withut worrying about the future this makes them more confident and happy it does'nt mean that they will spend money unnecessary without thinking about the future they do care about future they spend money in an required mannner not delibratery when their is aneed of anything they will spend their money without any compromise if their is no use of it they will not spend their money on them.In conclusion, i firmly believe that money should be safe for future and aslo money should be spend on our present with compelete conviction for both young and adults their should be balance between spending and saving money both should be hand in hand simultaneously if one of them is not accurate i think it will affect future savings ultimately money should also be spend on present but it should be only spend if their is a need of that thing on which the money is spend.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you support saving for the future while also accepting that people should spend on present needs. The conclusion restates this balanced view, and the discussion of saving through investments and spending to maintain happiness is relevant to the question. This addresses the task, but the two sides are not developed equally: the reasons for saving are mostly listed, while the opposing view receives more explanation. Examples such as gold, property and piggy banks would be stronger if you explained how they help young people become financially secure. To strengthen the response, state your degree of agreement more directly in the introduction and develop each main reason with a clear explanation or specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable overall shape, with an opening position, discussion of saving and spending, and a concluding summary. However, ideas are difficult to follow because much of the response is presented in very long, crowded sentences, with few clear paragraph breaks. For example, the discussion beginning “Most of the people” moves from general beliefs to young people’s methods and then to older people’s investments without clear transitions. Linking phrases such as “On the other hands” and “In conclusion” show an attempt to guide the reader, but connections within the discussion are often unclear or repetitive. Use separate paragraphs for your position, reasons for saving, and the counterargument, and make each paragraph develop one central point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “invest,” “properties,” “present moments,” and “compromise,” and you attempt to distinguish saving from spending. However, the range is limited by repeated use of “money,” “future,” “spend,” and “save,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate. For instance, “save their money by buying gold” would be clearer as “invest their savings in gold,” while “money should be safe for future” does not express the intended idea naturally. Spelling errors such as “belive,” “usally,” and “delibratery” also make the writing less fluent to read. Build a wider set of precise financial terms and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and contrasts, so there is some variety in structure. However, many sentences are joined without appropriate punctuation, making relationships between clauses hard to identify. The opening, for example, runs “Saving money for future is an important aspect … saving money also allows people…” without a full stop or conjunction. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence construction, as in “their is some other people” and “every young and adult should save.” These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Improve control by separating independent ideas into shorter sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and articles, and using complex clauses only when their structure is clear.
