Student answer (Band 5.5)
Everyone including the young generations should save money for their future because it will help them to be financially strong for upcoming situations whether it'll be good or bad but its good to be prepared.
Yes,I do agree people should collect and save their money for their upcoming future because today's saving is the tomorrow income which will help any person including the young people to fight through bad situations or move on easily in good situations. The reason behind i said it helps to fight through bad situation is because when i was in bad phase of my life stuggling with my carrer, i had one little accident which made me faint that it took me to the hospital bed at that time where i had just left my job and i had nothing except my saving so, it helped me at the end of the day to pay my hospital bills and recover from the loss i have faced at that time, situation like this can happen anytime that's why saving money is the best and smartest move anyone could do,to make their future much more secure to yourself and the people you move with like family and friends, The knowledge i have gained through my experiences is that "earning is not a big deal, saving the money is" it takes a lot of guts to do so because its just for your only future and the people you deal with that's why whatever you earn save something for the future to make it more secure.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people, including young people, should save for the future. You give a relevant personal example of using savings to pay hospital bills after an accident and explain how savings can provide security in difficult circumstances. This directly supports your main argument. However, the response develops this point much more fully than other aspects of the topic. The benefits of saving in positive circumstances, and why the advice is especially important for young people, are mentioned but not explained. The conclusion is also folded into the long example rather than presented as a clear final summary. Develop a second distinct reason and explain it with a specific example to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic overall shape: an opening statement, a paragraph expressing agreement and giving an example, and a concluding idea about saving. The personal story also gives the main argument a recognisable sequence. However, progression is difficult to follow because most of the response is contained in two very long paragraphs, especially the second, which combines the opinion, explanation, accident, advice, and concluding reflection. Linking phrases such as “because,” “at that time,” and “that's why” are repeated, and some references, such as “it” and “this,” are not always immediately clear. Use separate paragraphs for your reasons and conclusion, and divide long sentences so each one develops a single step in the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the central ideas, including “financially strong,” “hospital bills,” “recover from the loss,” and “secure.” The personal example also gives you some relevant topic language. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “future,” “saving,” “situation,” and “good or bad.” Several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, including “move on easily in good situations,” “bad phase of my life,” and “the people you move with.” Spelling errors such as “stuggling” and “carrer” also affect the accuracy of the vocabulary. Aim for more precise financial terms and natural collocations, and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “because today's saving is the tomorrow income which will help…” This shows an effort to express connected reasoning, but long structures are often difficult to control. The sentence describing the accident and hospital visit contains several ideas joined together, making the relationships between clauses unclear. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, such as “i had just left my job and i had nothing except my saving,” and punctuation problems, including missing spaces after commas and inconsistent capitalisation of “I.” Use shorter sentences to control clause structure, and review tense consistency, articles, and punctuation when editing.
